ABOUT ME
A director, editor, and lifelong Cinephile; I started my career in 2009 as an assistant editor before quickly rising in the ranks to editor. To date, I have edited more than 30 feature films and been the director, producer, co-producer, VFX Editor, or post-production supervisor on many many more.
In 2013 my short film Ten to Sing was accepted into the Cannes Shorts' Corner and shortly after I directed my first feature film Zombie Shark which gained me the honor of being the first woman to direct a Syfy Channel original film. I have since followed it up by directing 3 more feature films for Syfy, including the popular Santa Jaws in 2018, all the while editing a wide variety of films, including the third installment of the Jeepers Creepers franchise, along with dozens of made-for-TV films, independent feature films and episodic works. My experience in editing VFX heavy projects led me additionally to VFX editing on projects such as AMC’s Mayfair Witches.
Thanks to my shark films I was featured as an interviewee in the 2023 documentary Sharkspoitation available on Shudder.
As a proud Cajun native to south Louisiana I put in a lot of effort to grow the film community in the state the I love. I’ve mentored many assistant editors and editors and have launched, alongside other local post workers, the website www.louisianapostproduction.com, a tool to help anyone wanting to do post in Louisiana find their perfect team. Story telling is my deepest passion and collaborating is a close second.
